What is Ectoin^®?

Ectoin^® is a natural molecule belonging to the group of extremolytes, which are substances produced by extremophilic microorganisms that thrive in harsh environments like salt lakes, deserts, and polar ice. The babassu oil is an extract of the Attalea speciose palm seeds from Brazil. The oil contains myristic and lauric acid and melts when in contact with the skin. The skin feels pleasant, it absorbs quickly, and it reduces moisture loss. It improves the skin elasticity and is an excellent moisturizer while stimulating the collagen formation. It contains a lot of antioxidants like vitamin E and phytosterols that help neutralize free radicals that cause premature ageing.

The Immortelle is a herb found in coastal Mediterranean areas with a long tradition of being used in anti-ageing care. Its botanical name is derived from its golden-yellow blossoms; in Greek, “helios” means sun and “krios” means gold.
